“Carpe diem . . .”
Katie says she has 3 things buyers and sellers need in the Big Sky Real Estate market:
ERA’s strong advertising and marketing programs
Katie’s knowledge of the market
Cooperation with all agents in Big Sky

“Big Sky Pioneer . . .”

Licensed as a real estate salesperson by the State of Montana since 1977, the year of the auction, Katie was here in the early days when the original stockholders like Chrysler, Montana Power, Northwest Airlines and Burlington Northern owned the Resort. Katie was lured to Big Sky by the NBC anchorman Chet Huntley who spoke about Big Sky on his nightly newscasts. Katie visited Big Sky in 1975, then moved from New York where she was born and raised and received a bachelor’s degree in business from Pace University, NYC. She holds one of the first International Collection certifications, a Top Gun Listing designation and has also been recognized in ERA’s Leadership Team.

“Community Spirit . . .”

Katie’s community service is extensive, including affiliations with Soldiers Chapel and Big Sky Catholic Mission, Gallatin Canyon Women’s Club, Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, Gallatin Valley Land Trust, Ophir School Board, American Association of University Women, and the Big Sky Chamber of Commerce. Additionally, Katie is a notary, a member of the Gallatin Association of Realtors® and Multiple Listing Service.

“A Big Sky love affair . . .”
When Katie says her last name “Grimm, 2 m’s, like the fairytales,” she means it.   Her husband of 20+ years is Jake Grimm of Jake’s Horses, an icon in the Canyon, and their children, Julie and Christine, in college and high school are the loves of their lives.
