Education/Previous Career Experience:
University of Arkansas, Psychology Major-Real Estate Law I&II, Nashville, Tennessee, Tennessee Insurance Licenses; From cash grain broker to the hospitality industry.  Upon returning to Yellowstone National Park in 1989 I worked in the Group Tour office in Yellowstone to Special Reservations Coordinator, handling all VIP reservations to Conference Coordinator, which included the food and beverage side of a function as well as the lodging.  I established a great rapport with the National Park Service and the education institutes within Yellowstone that continued after I left the park.  I was recognized for always going the extra mile for all of our VIP clients that included Presidents, to visiting royalty, to film crews and foreign dignitaries.  Everyone wanted to get married in Yellowstone and since the Park is a Park “for the people”, it was always the most challenging since no area of the park can be closed off to the public.  After leaving Yellowstone, I continued to serve VIP’s visiting our area. I ran a hotel in Gardiner for five years.  The summer that President Clinton and Vice President Al Gore visited Yellowstone I housed their Secret Service and Communication team.  The White House recognized all the hotel staff and myself for our outstanding service.  One of my most prized possessions is a personal letter sent by the former governor of Texas, John Connally, who was shot with JFK.  After handling his trip into the Park, he sent me a very sweet letter and a beautiful photo album.  I had exceptional experiences with some very exceptional people.
After moving to Livingston I bought, renovated and reopened the old Martin’s Café at the train depot what is now known as the Northern Pacific Beanery.  I sold this restaurant in August 2007.

Continued Education:
Connole-Morton Real Estate School-60 Hours-March, 2008

Real Estate Specialties:
A true reverence for the “place” we are in.  The ability to communicate well, passionate about what I am about to get into which will make me a very good real estate specialist. I know the area well.  Have lived in Gardiner for 14 years and Livingston for the past four.  Have been coming to this area since 1977 so I have seen the change in the landscape here.  It will be important to lead, guide and direct potential clients to maximize on their decision.
I have a reputation for being an honest businesswoman with a very high work ethic and integrity.  Folks who have worked with me know I will always go the extra mile to provide the best possible experience and customer service for them.  I will educate myself in this business in order to be the best informed.  People listing their properties with me will get the best service from me, getting their property properly staged and ready for the market.
I will work hard in order to provide my customer with the best possible property match for them and the money they have to invest.  A home or land is one the largest investments a person/couple will make in their lifetime.  I want it to be the best possible experience and hopefully a beginning of a long relationship through this positive and hopefully mutually beneficial experience.

Community Service:
In Nashville helped form the Broadway Revitalization Group, was recognized by Historic Nashville. While living in York, PA served on Historical Architectural Review Board appointed by the mayor, served on the YWCA Board on the Membership/Leadership Committee. Riding for the Handicap. In Gardiner I served on the Yellowstone Country Montana Board for 5 years, the Gardiner Chamber of Commerce, the last year as President.  The summer of 2003 was the rededication of the Roosevelt Arch where I was asked to speak.  I had the privilege of sharing the podium that day with Theodore Roosevelt IV.  We then put on the largest backyard BBQ serving several 100 people that day, visitors and residents alike.  In Livingston I have served on the Board of the Urban Renewal Agency, Vision Livingston Downtown Partnership and currently am on the Board of Horse Medicine, an equine assisted growth learning and education program for children.
I believe when you live in a community you should be involved.  It is like “don’t complain about the farmer while talking with your mouth full.”  We all are responsible for giving something back to the community that sustains us in our everyday lives.  It is important to be a part of that tapestry in whatever capacity, however small it makes up the whole and thus it is important.

Hobbies:
Reading, hiking, gardening, riding my Harley and seeing the world through my dog’s eyes.
