Chris Pope received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Oregon, and then graduated in 1988 with a Masters in Public and Private Management from Yale University. He was a marketing manager for a subsidiary of Amoco Corporation before moving with his family to Bozeman in 1991, at which time he and his wife founded a local retail company with operations in Montana and Utah.

COMMUNITY SERVICE & PROFESSIONAL INVOLVEMENT:
Chris has served as chairman of the Downtown Bozeman Association and the Bozeman Parking Commission, and serves on the boards of the Business Improvement District (comprising of the business district property owners) and the Downtown Urban Renewal District. He is past board chairman of Eagle Mount an outstanding local non-profit providing recreational and therapeutic opportunities for persons with disabilities. Chris is a member of the Bozeman Noon Rotary, the National, Montana and Gallatin Association of Realtors® and the Southwest Montana Multiple Listing Service.

PERSONAL:
Chris and his wife, Maddy, have two children: Jessica, age 14, and Ben, age 10. They enjoy many of Montana’s outdoor activities and they highly value the opportunity to live in the Rocky Mountain West.
